Prepare an invention description, which is suitable for patent application drafting, and reduce the cost of patent attorney services.

Patent attorney services are very expensive (typically 200-400 USD per hour) - to protect one invention, inventor need to spend from 5000 to 8000 USD. This is a very huge amount of money, especially for a start-up company, which has very limited budget.

Personally, i work in the intellectual property protection field for more than 6 years. So i know how much time patent attorney spends on invention protection work. Typically, his work can be devided into 2 parts: collecting information stage and drafting stage.

On collecting information stage, patent attorney review invention description, brought by author of the invention. Typically, such invention description is not suitable for patent application drafting. Reasons, why it appears so often is simple: inventor don't know patent law and don't know what kind of information need to be included into patent application. Patent attorney spends 3-5 hours on this stage.

On drafting stage, patent attorney use all his experience and knowledge to draft a high-quality patent. This work is very different and, unfortunately, can't be automated.
