Looking for developers to lend a hand in building out an application to help individuals with Diabetes manage and track their condition.
Project Description
I am currently in the process of completing my Masters degree in Health Information. I have spent the better part of the last year thinking of and working on the design on a health managment application aimed at individuals with Diabetes. At the present time I am looking for freelance developers who would be willing to help me build a prototype of the application I have designed. Note that there is no intent to sell this application nor is there any intent to publish it in the app store. It is primarily for research purposes only.

Hi: I have developed a similar app for a pharmaceutical company and, with the experience I had, I can tell you that such an app could easily be considered as a medical device by the FDA if you try doing it very very helpful to the diabetic patient so it could become a problem. If you keep the app simple enough it is not considered a medical device, you might have more changes of not getting in trouble with the FDA. It is just a helpful feedback to share my experience so you won't have to go through the same issues I had. Good luck.
