Sony announces the Xperia Miro – The Facebook Phone!

The way Sony hyped up their next Xperia phone announcement on Facebook, we thought that the rumored Sony Hayabusa was on its way with a 13MP camera, 4.5” display and 7mm thin. Alas! that’s not the case as the wait is over and with the help of 25,914 fans the announcement was moved 9 days earlier.

Nothing special is announced just another mid-budget smartphone dubbed as Xperia Miro. [Sony please fire the guy who names these phones!].

The new Xperia Miro is claimed to be the best social phone with integrated Facebook support offered yet. It has full facebook integration, that helps you share, like and comment with ease. A 3.5” display, 5MP rear shooter with Flash and a front facing camera for your video calling needs. Well, fortunately it is running Android 4.0 ICS and sports a larger battery for more power and usage.

Even though Miro looks like a pretty decent phone in its category but thousands of dreams were shattered and hearts broken. It doesn’t stop there fans started raging against Sony and expressed their grief/anger in comments on the official page. Below is the screenshot of the few comments.
