Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX will receive ICS on 12th June
There have been plenty of reports regarding the ICS update for Motorola’s DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX but we haven’t seen any progress so far. Today, we have new reports coming in from different sources that Verizon and Motorola are planning to roll-out ICS updates starting next week from 12th June.
According to certain tips from Verizon, the update will probably begin rolling out from 12th this month but then again these things are always prone to change any time. The testing phase has been over and all the final glitches/bugs have been worked out. The update is ready for roll-out. Motorola promised the update in Q2 and it is luckily still in the time frame.
There is still good news left, when the update hits the phones it will be for both RAZR and RAZR MAXX as both phones run the same version of Android OS. According to Verizon, the delay was caused by the changes from Android 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 but fortunately everything has been worked out now and finally rolling in a few days.
Let us know when you receive the update. Please!
