Your Lumia 900 Can Double As Your Hammer

Nokia makes tough phones. Seriously, their phones are tough.

And no, I’m not talking about the ancient 5110 which we know could be dropped a couple of stories off a building and survive to tell the tale. Heck, if I could buy a battery for my old 5110, I think it would still work. No, we’re talking about current smartphones here with their big screens and complicated apps.

We’re talking about the Nokia Lumia 900. Despite its dainty aesthetic, it’s actually a tough nut to crack. In fact, so tough is the Lumia 900 and so big the trust of one man in it that he decided to literally do a nail-hammered-to-the-screen test.

And when that didn’t break the Lumia 900’s glass, he decided his hammer wasn’t good enough and used the smartphone as the actual hammer to drive a nail into a piece of wood. Those aren’t industry standard tests but the result is awesome so bear with us.

TechCraver’s Jason Harris, who also works as a contributor to Nokia Conversations, is the man responsible for all this hoopla. As a bit of a background, view this video:

This is the Sonim Mobile Phone otherwise known as the indestructible phone and it is what inspired Harris to make his own version albeit with a black Nokia Lumia 900.

Go ahead and just view it here:

Awesome, right? If Nokia doesn’t recover from the slump it is in at the moment, I suggest they go into the hammer business.
