iPhone 4S and Lumia 900 Each Tell The Other It’s The Best Phone

Someone at Apple and at Nokia better be reprimanding the iPhone 4S and the Lumia 900 for being unfaithful. The current talk of the tech community is that the two smartphones, when asked what the best phone is, are saying that the other one is it.

This makes for an awesome and not to mention funny incident that’s bound to be talked about for weeks on end and maybe even end up as a meme.

Anyway, it all started with a report from WMPoweruser where Siri, the intelligent assistant on the iPhone 4S, was asked “What’s the best cell phone ever?” To this, Siri replied, “Nokia – Lumia 900 4G Mobile Phone – Cyan (AT&T)”. Wow, that’s as detailed as you can get as it described the phone down to the carrier and the color it’s rocking even.

You can’t blame Siri though as it sources her answers from Wolfram Alpha which ranks the cyan 4G Lumia 900 on AT&T as the best phone in terms of customer review scores. Additionally, Siri does not always answer this as she also sometimes says “The one in your hand” or “You’re kidding right?” or that “Wait…there are other phones?” Nonetheless, Microsoft just had to mention this on the Windows Team Blog.

Meanwhile, the Lumia 900 being as humble as the iPhone 4S and Siri, it’s saying that the iPhone is the best phone. When TellMe is asked “What is the best smartphone ever?”, it does a simple Bing search and says “Yes, the iPhone is still the best smartphone you can buy,” referencing a story on Business Insider.

Maybe the Apple iPhone 4S and Nokia Lumia 900 are bored and they decided to spice things up a bit with mutual praise. One thing is for certain though. This is bound for the history books.
