Samsung to unveil “The Upcoming Galaxy SIII” on May 3

Finally, after thousands of fake leaks, rumors and speculations Samsung itself has given out the announcement date for their upcoming flagship device, Galaxy SIII. According to the report, the Samsung only event will be held in London on 3rd May. There aren’t many details about the event as of now, but it is called “Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012” [That’s right! SMU is where Sammy announces their Flagship devices]

Well, the Galaxy SIII is the most talked about phone of this year. We have seen hundreds of fake renders, Brilliantly engineered hoaxes and false rumors. Samsung has to make sure it lives up to the hype. Few of these rumors were pretty genuine like a 4.6” Super AMOLED+ display without pentile layout, a Quad-Core Exynos chip and a 12 megapixel rear shooter.

There were rumors that Samsung has delayed the GSIII in order to compete against Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5. If both devices continue the legacy of their predecessors than these could become the best selling phones in their respective categories. There are still no words on the price, release date and specs of the device, but given Samsung’s past practices, the International version of the phone will hit the market shortly after its announcement.
