Install Windows 8 Metro UI on Android Tablets running Honeycomb or ICS

Here’s something cool for your Android tablet. If you like tweaking your tablets UI every now and then, well we’ve got something that will keep you hooked for a decent amount of time. An awesome member [known as BroBot175] at XDA Forums has created a Windows 8 Metro UI theme for all android tablets running Honeycomb or ICS.

This theme is a completely functioning clone of the Metro UI, it lets you create your own choice of tiles and organize those tiles in any way you want. The theme supports all ICS and Honeycomb tablet [Recently added on so many requests].

Installing the theme is simple, if you have already installed any themes or flashed any ROMs before you’ll face no difficulty in installing this theme. Just install it via ClockWorkMod recovery and then transfer the tiles’ images. If you want to install the theme now and see how it looks on your tablet then head over to the Official Thread at XDA Forums and follow the given steps carefully. Don’t forget to make a backup before flashing/installing anything on your device. The theme is still in Beta phase, even though it is fairly stable and can be used as a daily driver but there might be some minor issues or glitches [that will be fixed in the coming updates].
