Everybody loves puzzle games, specially those that include a physics based puzzle. Galaxy Pool is one of those games that involve intense physics puzzle to tingle your brains. This game is designed for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Gameplay

The gameplay is simple but gets a little intense as the game advances. The main objective of the game is to help the lost Alien spaceship reach its destination, that in this case is a Planet. [Duh!] You will have to bounce the space ship through some movable spacebars. You have to move the spacebars in a certain angle that when the spaceship comes in contact with it, it bounces in your required direction. It might sound simple to you, but it is not that simple. First of all there are no position markers, so you don’t know where the spaceship will hit, you will have to trust your instincts and probably your physics skills. Second, there are obstacles like walls that can be used to your advantage. [if you can use your brain!]  There are also teleportation Black-holes that will take your spaceship from one position to another in an instant.
There are 50 different mind-boggling levels divided into 2 Worlds, and according to the developers there are more updates to come. Check out the short gameplay video below.

Controls

The game has very basic controls, there are three on-screen buttons for you. Two movement buttons and one Go button. Movement buttons will allow you to move the space bars in the respective direction while the go button blasts-off the spaceship. You’ll have to tap on a space bar to before moving it in a particular direction though. Buttons are well-placed and don’t interrupt your game.

Graphics

Galaxy Pool has pretty cute graphics, not the cutest graphics out there but still pretty good looking. Colors are bright and vibrant. It could use more detailing in my opinion like a Live space background but still the game is quite good looking.

Sounds

When it comes to the sounds department this game is all aces in my book. The game has unique and exciting background music, both in-game and options screen. There are also some sound effects like Spaceship Blast-off and when it hits anything walls, spacebars etc. The sounds make your gameplay more interesting and immersive.

Verdict

All in all Galaxy Pool is a fun game filled with brain tingling physics puzzle. It is a must have for all puzzle lovers and casual gamers out there. It could be a great and exciting time killer for you.
