TwinGo! Review
Simple yet intuitive gameplay and mechanisms, bundled with cute graphics. These characteristics seem to be a must now for most great puzzle games on the AppStore. We have seen lots of them, and with various mechanics, from cutting ropes, carefully placing objects, manipulating the terrain, to simple touch / swipe based controls. Talking about those who utilize swipe control, there is one particular title which shouldn’t be missed out. The name is TwinGo!, published by Chillingo, which incorporates those aspects stated above.
You are here to help the twin, called Fuyu and Natsu, on their mission to reach the designated spot. For your information, Fuyu means winter, while Natsu means summer, in Japanese that is. As stated above, the main thing you should do here, aside from thinking the best possible solution, is to swipe on the screen to move both characters.
On each stage, there are 2 spots, colored correspondingly to the color of both characters, where you have to guide each of them to its own spot with as few moves as possible. Careful though, as there are also traps and holes which will force you to retry the stage. This will affect your final score for the stage. Additionally, you can also collect stars (yes, it is a 3-stars system) in which will help you for some bonus points.
At first, it might sounds pretty simple. But as you play, even the earlier levels can bring troubles if you are not careful enough. There are 3 worlds currently, with 90 stages to solve, which are certainly will be more than enough for many folks, judging by the difficulty levels in early stages. GameCenter support is there with plenty of achievements to get. If you are looking for a new cute puzzler, check it out! It’s available for $0.99 on the AppStore.
