St. Louis, Missouri – Alexcel today is pleased to announce StagePage 1.0 free for iOS, their new Music app that offers an awesome new way to capture, save, and share the experience of attending a live concert as a virtual collage, memory page. With so many music lovers shooting stills and video at concerts with their iPhones, StagePage offers a convenient method of organizing, saving, and sharing those memories. The app provides a variety of templates for users to assemble creative collages of ticket stubs, marquees, programs, set lists, concert details, names and photos of everyone in the group that went to the concert, and videos of the performances. Each StagePage created becomes a personalized, permanent keepsake of the event.
On launch in portrait orientation, StagePage presents a scrolling album of StagePages the user has already made, and a Plus button to make new ones. Concertgoers start by filling in the name of the Artist, Venue, Location, and Date. This inscribes an attractive title and subtitles at the top left of the page, identifying the event.
From there, users tap on each of five differently sized, overlapping rectangular frames, selecting the photo or video of their choice. The app allows users to choose from anything in their photo library, or shoot something new especially for that empty frame. For example, music fans may want to shoot a well-lit closeup of the program for inclusion in their collage. After selecting a photo or video, the app offers the option of editing its size, shape, cropping, rotation, etc.
* Upload a picture of your ticket stub and crop to ticket shape
* Upload concert pics
* Upload video from the show
* Edit photos and videos by cropping, incorporating special effects, rotating and more
* Document who was there
* Add the concert set list
* Add commentary/observations from the show
* Pick a background for your StagePage from multiple choices
* Return to your scrolling list of StagePages at any time and click on each to view
While users are free to place any content in any frame, the template suggests the following five categories from top to bottom: Venue, Video Clip, Ticket Stub, Self & Friends, and Band Onstage. A scrap of paper taped on to the bottom of frame #2 allows users to include comments or notes on their Page. Separate function buttons allow the creation of a full-page Setlist from the show and a page displaying photos of friends who attended, both of which are saved with the Page. Another function button allows the selection of any one of six abstract backgrounds. Finally, the app includes built-in email, Facebook, and Twitter connectivity for sharing StagePages with others.
