Tel Aviv, Israel – Announcing that Hashsoft has just released myPill version 2.0, their birth control reminder app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Taking advantage of iOS 5 new appearance API, in this update myPill has customized all controls graphics with a very realistic / modern web looks. Great looking buttons, shiny tab bar items and granulated background, it is very pleasant to the eye and makes it really fun to use.
In addition, a brand new feature was added – myPill Planner. It can be used to remind buying a new pack or pills, take a prescription from the doctor, do your yearly checkups, keep track of pills packs stored at the medicine cabinet and more.
Another anticipated feature – myPill now has localized interface for five new languages: Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese, allowing customers to enjoy myPill’s user interface in their mother tongue.
Finally, there’s the new dynamic Help & Information tab – it has answers to common questions received by myPill users: technical, medical and sometimes even make special offers for myPill users.
As a teaser, the developer – Tal, tells us that the next update will support the patch contraceptive. Many women use patch instead of pills, instead of swallowing a pill every day, it can be placed to the shoulder and requires replacing only once a week. myPill will remind to replace the patch every week.
myPill is available with basic functionality for free at Apple’s App Store. Customers who wish, can have extended customization features for $2.99. myPill Planner allows two entries for free and allows unlimited access for a one time payment of $1.99.
