Acer Reveals ICS Update plans for Iconia Tabs

Acer has officially announced the plans for updating their whole line-up of Iconia Tabs to Ice Cream Sandwich. Today, Acer has released a press release which clearly states that All Acer Iconia Tabs will be receiving ICS very soon. The Iconia Tab A200 has already started receiving the update in phases, don’t panic if you haven’t received the update yet as it will be completed over the following week.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 and A500 will be receiving ICS in April, as stated in the PR. Even though this Press Release is for American users, but we are certain that the time frame for other countries will be the same as well.

The press release also includes information about various other updates as well like a totally revamped UI design, faster browsing, enhanced apps and improved multi-tasking. You can read the complete details here.
