Skype for Android Updated, Receives a Facelift

Yes it is true, Skype for Android has finally received a much awaited update that was highly needed, to compare it against the iOS version of the app.

The new Skype (2.6.0.75) looks better than its previous version on Android. Boasts some new features as well like the Auto Log-in feature that helps you handle your voice-mails much better. Also the new look and facelift from its previous layout seems nice and bold when compared to the looks of previous version.

Also the new Skype runs more faster because the graphical interface has been optimized as well. In addition to that it is also said that the new version is optimized for running with Nvidia’s dual-core CPU, Tegra 2. [Should work fine for Tegra 3! I guess].

The video chat experience has also been enhanced and full screen mode runs even smoother during video chats. Finally, the Droid RAZR and Amaze 4G both support video calling now.
You can get the new Skype from the Android Market.
