Deadly Chambers on Android Review
Remember DOOM? Loved the way you shot the crap out of those hideous monsters? If you answered yes to both questions then you are probably [definitely] going to enjoy today’s review. I am always on the lookout for great games for my Android [I really don’t care if the game is new or old, I just want it to be fun and entertaining]. Deadly Chambers, is a 3D shooter game that brings back the memories of days we used to play DOOM, or Quake or [Insert monster shooter games here].
Gameplay
Deadly Chambers has the same gameplay as the above mentioned games. When you load the game, you will notice that it i s presented with a nice dark theme that makes it more appealing. You’ll have to start a “New Game” [“Quick Play” won’t work for you until you have unlocked some levels first]. You’ll get a basic tutorial for the first time you start the game, you can skip the tutorial if you want to experience the game on your own or you can go through it in seconds to understand the basic controls. You start with a normal gun, but you will eventually be able to choose from different 15 weapons [So, Don’t worry!]. Kill the monsters, Find the keys to the locked doors and Fight the “Boss”, that’s pretty much what you’ll be doing at each level.
Controls
Controls are simple, and you’ll probably enjoy the on-screen joystick for controlling your character. On the right are four buttons, Fire button is on the top-right of the screen then beneath it is the Weapons button. On the bottom-right there are two buttons, one for adjusting the camera angle and the other switches your view to either First-Person or Third-Person [That’s pretty awesome!]. Buttons are well placed and you won’t ever press the wrong one while totally immersed in the game, that is a plus.
Graphics
Graphics are alright not the best 3D graphics out there and require more work on the visual aspect of the game. Monsters look more like Dolls and weapons look like cheap toys. In the 3rd Person mode your character looks like a puppet. Well, graphics need a little more tweaking but still the game provides the best Shooter fun.
Sounds
Well, the Audio is pretty good, I personally like the dark-themed background music but the sound effects need more work not bad though. I think the sounds are much better compared to other shooter game for android but still needs more sound effects to commemorate the gameplay.
