Menlo Park, California – Want to share your updates with friends but are concerned about privacy? Always on the go, looking to find something new to do or someplace new to go? If this sounds like you, then Glocu’s for you.
Glocu is a location-based social network that lets you connect with close friends and the world around you. Share moments with friends and family, keep up with what they’re doing, tap into the local buzz, or discover new places to explore – with Glocu, you can do it all in one place. Glocu lets you share through two distinct flows:
We value privacy when it comes to the details of our everyday lives. Through your private flow, Glocu lets you share those moments with close friends and family (up to 60 people max). That way, you can feel comfortable sharing freely and frequently with the people you communicate with and care most about.
At the same time, we all want to discover new things to do, cool places to visit, and fun events nearby. Through the public flow, Glocu helps you unlock the local pearls and explore your locale in a profound way by getting to know what gets other people excited, or share your take! The augmented experience is accessed through 3 filters; time so that you don’t miss anything new, location because close things may be a priority for some and popularity, well classics are obviously a must.
The interface is easy, intuitive and fun, so download the app and give it a go! This is our first step with many exciting things to come, we would love to hear from you so when you have the chance show us some love and send us feedback.
